DeepSeek Founder Says China AI Will Stop Following U.S.

BEIJING-- The high-performance, low-priced expert system model launched just recently by Chinese start-up DeepSeek has produced a wave of attention around the world. DeepSeek-R1 appears to provide performance that competitors alternatives from the U.S., mediawiki.hcah.in but the business states it was developed at less than a tenth of the expense of those models.
